That Secret Place

I'm a student consistently confused, anxious, or out of it.

This blog will primarily contain poetry and prose, art (usually focusing on myth or nature), anything fantasy, pretty things, sad things, anime, and terrible terrible puns.

I like Epica’s new album “Requiem for the Indifferent.” I pre-ordered the T-shirt and CD, so I’m kind of in heaven. I actually got them a bit ago, but now that I’m on break I have to time to sit and listen to all of the songs.
My favorite song on the album is definitely Deep Water Horizon. I’d attach an MP3 but I don’t have one less than 10MB.
I strongly urge those of you who like Epica to support the band and get the new album - it really is worth it. The music is as great as ever with a few new twists to its classic style.
If you’re really curious just go listen on YouTube. I don’t feel like linking.

Travesty is coming over!

We’re going to eat sweet things, watch movies, and talk about how boys are jerks. I’m not very good that things like these, but I guess there isn’t much to it anyway?

Regardless, I hope my anxiety won’t be as bad tonight. I’d appreciate a night without twitching like a fucking derp. Lexie’s also doing a livestream, so tonight shouldn’t be so bad.

Spring Break isn’t much longer, I can deal. I think. Pretty sure.

[Flash 9 is required to listen to audio.]

Okay, so for some terrible reason I decided to wait until tonight to listen to some more of Michael Jackson’s songs (being that I’ve only ever heard Thriller and Earth Song before). Predictably, I’ve fallen in love with what I have heard.

My favorite of which being “Ben”. It’s such a beautiful, beautiful song. I can kind of relate too, ‘cause I used to have a rat named Max. He and I weren’t that close though.

It’s just stunning to think of someone his age (at the time) singing such a deep and heartfelt song. Then again, I guess it’s just my kids-and-teenagers-aren’t-really-people-and-don’t-really-have-feelings upbringing doing the thinking.

Regardless, just a first post of what’s on my mind to get this thing going. I’ve attached an MP3 of “Ben” for those who haven’t heard it yet.

I look forward to continuing my Michael adventure and discovering more wonderful music.

Yeah Okay

Er, I’m getting kinda tired of only reblogging stuff. I guess I’ll start actually using this blog to post stuff that’s, you know, kinda sorta relevant to what goes on and.. things… stuff… about. Okay.

So basically it’ll be anything that floats into my head from this point on in addition to reblogging pretty and fantasy pics.

Yay variety and late night goals.
